Getting Started?

New to Ground Truth Ag? Start with our Quick Start Guide to set up your system and collect your first round of field data.

End-of-Day Shutdown Routine:
Flush the System:
- Tap the Admin tab.
- Tap the Flush button to start the flush sequence.
- While the flush runs, use the brush to remove any dust in the hopper.
Clean the Drawer:
- After flushing, open the drawer and remove any remaining dust or grains.
- Wipe down the benchtop exterior to remove surface dust.
Check the Imaging Chamber:
- Tap the Camera icon to inspect the imaging chamber.
- If it's clean, you're good to go.
- If it's dirty, follow the detailed cleaning instructions in the “Extras” section of the Daily User Guide.
Reassemble the Unit:
- Replace the drawer and securely fit the hopper lid.
Shut Down:
- Log out of the app by tapping the icon in the top right corner.
- Press the Power button to turn off the benchtop unit.
If you're using a 1 kg "small sample," we recommend either:
- Using a 2 kg sample to ensure optimal image count and grading accuracy, or
- Re-pouring the smaller sample to ensure at least 20 images are captured.
For best results, either start with 2 kg or re-pour the sample.
This is often due to a dusty or dirty camera lens. Follow our step-by-step cleaning video to restore image quality.
Try the following steps:
1. Exit and restart the app on the iPad.
2. Restart the benchtop unit.
