Ground Truth Ag competing in Ag Innovations Competition at the Agri-Trade Equipment Expo

Visit our booth at the Agri-Trade Equipment Expo for a live demo of the Reference benchtop unit.

Ground Truth Ag is very excited to have been chosen as one of five innovators to compete in this year’s Ag Innovations Competition at the Agri-Trade Equipment Expo in Red Deer from November 8th to 10th, 2023.

At the Expo, stop by our booth to see a live demo of the Reference This unit, which can sit on a small table, uses machine vision to assess the quality of Canadian Western Red Spring wheat. In 2024, we will be further upgrading the Reference to also include a near infrared analyzer and the ability to grade more grain types quickly and accurately.

Users pour samples of grain into the machine and input information to identify the sample such as when and where the grain was harvested or is being stored.

The Reference then uses machine vision to assess the visual qualities of the grain, identifying damage or disease that negatively impact grain quality. You will receive a read out that clearly shows you the grade, along with the assessment of 40 different visual characteristics with those of concern listed at the top with critical information on how close they are to either upgrade or downgrade.

The Reference will also provide you all photos of kernels where it identified damage, clearly showing you what it detected during the scanning process.

The process is quick with larger samples taking up to a couple of minutes and there is no limit to the number of samples the Reference can assess!

Ground Truth Ag wants to empower grain producers with accurate, location-based grade and quality data and know that our products are going to modernise your operations. Reach out to us to find out how you can take advantage of the Reference.
